We Practice Regenerative Agriculture

Updated: May 4

There's a moment every morning — just before the sun fully clears the tree line — when the fields at Love Bug Farm glow like something out of a dream. The dew is still heavy on the kale. The ladybugs are doing their quiet, tireless work. And the soil beneath it all is alive in ways most people never get to witness.

At Love Bug Farm, we practice regenerative agriculture — a way of farming that doesn't just sustain the land, but actively restores it. No synthetic fertilizers, no harsh pesticides, and a deep commitment to practices that keep our little corner of Upper Marlboro, MD thriving for generations to come.

When plants grow in healthy, biologically active soil, they develop deeper root systems and absorb a wider spectrum of minerals. The result is produce that doesn't just look good — it is good. More vitamins. More minerals. More flavor. That tomato that actually tastes like a tomato? That's what soil health looks like on your plate.

Our CSA members aren't customers — they're partners. When you join, you share in the rhythm of the seasons with us. The abundant weeks and the lean ones. The early spring greens and the late summer squash that just won't quit. You become part of the story of this land.

And that connection? That's the harvest we're most proud of.

Rooted in love. Tended with care.
