From our soil to your soul.
Who we are

A small farm with a big heart.

Born from a love of land and community, Love Bug Farm took root in 2022 on a ½-acre plot at the Urban Farm Incubator at Watkins Regional Park in Prince George's County, Maryland. From day one, our mission has been simple: grow real food for real people — using practices that heal the earth rather than harm it...

We grow nutrient-dense vegetables using regenerative methods that prioritize living soil and thriving ecosystems. Most of what we grow goes directly to families within 15–20 miles of the farm or to small local businesses — and nearly everything is washed, packed, and in your hands within a day or two of harvest. That's freshness you can taste.

At the heart of everything we do is a deep belief that caring for people and caring for the land are one and the same. When we strengthen the connections between land, food, and community, we build food systems that truly serve us all.

Why it matters

Rooted in Community

Heirloom Tomatoes

Every decision on our farm is made with the next generation in mind — building soil, not depleting it.

Community Rooted

We exists to nourish our neighbors. We partner with non-profits, food banks, and families.

Grown with Love

We tend each plant by hand, using no pesticides or fertilizers. Just sun, water, and intention.

Direct from the Field

What you take home was growing in the earth just hours before it reached your table.

The gate is always open.

Come see where your food is grown.

Where culture takes root

Every seed carries a story.

Food has always been the way communities hold onto themselves — the herb a father grows in his backyard to bring a piece of home with him. The dish that bridges two worlds at a table full of neighbors. The flavor that needs no translation.

At Love Bug Farm, we tend a harvest that honors that history. Alongside seasonal staples, we grow cultural-niche crops like ginger, turmeric, and lemongrass — ingredients that show up in kitchens across Prince George's County and around the world. Because truly nourishing a community means honoring all of its roots.

There's no culture without agriculture."

This little patch of earth has been my classroom for over the years. Here are a few things the soil keeps reminding me — and now I'm passing them on to you.
